MiReKoc is hosting two panels for Koç University Social Impact Forum’s “Social Value Matters” Conference, which will take place on 10-11 April 2017. The conference will focus on the four key areas of principles, people, practice, and power, we will be seeking to develop plans for how we can move to maximizing social impact, making more use of principles that are designed to maximize value, sharing experiences of what has worked and learning how we can more effectively lobby for policy changes.

MiReKoc Panel on Labor Market Integration: Stakeholder Involvement

The panel will concentrate on refugees’ labor market integration, the collaborations among stakeholders and their practices on employment. The session will take place on 10 April 2017 from 10:50 to 13:00. The panel will bring together representatives from organizations working on employment, development, refugee aid and vocational training and academics.

MiReKoc Panel on Children and Migration: Stakeholder Involvement and Social Impact Measurement in the Field of Education

The panel will concentrate on refugee children’s welfare, activities organized by different stakeholders, prevention of child labor and support to education. The session will take place on 10 April 2017 from 14:30 to 17:00. The panel will bring together representatives from organizations working on the community involvement of children, humanitarian aid, education, as well as academics.
