Ezgi Elçi

Postdoctoral Researcher

Ezgi Elçi is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Migration Research Center at Koç University (MiReKoç). He obtained his Ph.D. in the Department of International Relations and Political Science at Koç University with the dissertation titled “Politics of Nostalgia: Psychological Origins of Populism.” Previously, he was a visiting student researcher in the Center for the Study of Global Issues (GLOBIS) at the University of Georgia with the Fulbright grant. His primary research interest lies at the intersection of political behavior and political communication with an emphasis on the individual determinants of support for populism. His research interests also include survey experiments, content analysis, and migrants and minorities in Turkey.
